There’s something special about matches like the 2026 Nutcrusher!
It’s not just the stages, the props, or even the level of competition. It’s the people. The conversations on the line, the encouragement between shooters, the shared respect for the process. This match was a reminder of what this sport is truly about.
From start to finish, the energy was high and the attitudes were even better. Competitors showed up ready to push themselves, but also ready to support each other. That balance of competitiveness and community is what makes precision rifle shooting so unique, and it was on full display all weekend.
For me, it was a privilege to step behind the camera and capture those moments. The focus before a stage, the quick smiles after a solid run, the small victories that don’t always show up on a scoreboard. Those are the moments that matter, and being able to document them is something I don’t take lightly.
A huge thank you to Paul Dallin and his family for putting on such a well-run event. Matches like this don’t happen without a tremendous amount of time, effort, and care behind the scenes. It showed in every detail.
Thank you as well to all of the Range Officers who dedicated their time to keep the match running smoothly and safely. Your work allows the rest of us to simply focus on the experience.
And to Alpha Munitions, the title sponsor of the event—thank you for your support of the sport and the community that surrounds it.
The Nutcrusher continues to set a standard, not just in match design, but in the people it brings together.
I’m grateful to have been a small part of it!
